Ingredients
Urad dal – 1 cup
Moong dal – ½ cup
Chana dal – ½ cup
Idli rava – 3 cups
For mixing
Jeera – 2 tsp
Grated carrot – 3 tsp
Grated beans – 2 tsp
Grated ginger – 2 tsp
Green chillies chopped – 1
Fresh coconut powder – 2 tsp
Coriander leaves – 2 tsp
Dry ginger powder – a pinch
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Salt to taste
Method
Soak all dals separately for 3-4 hours. Grind them. Mix the
batter, idli rava and ferment for overnight. Before making idlis, add all ingredients, salt and mix well. Make idlis.
