Tamalapaku (Betel leaves) Pakodi Curry




Ingredients
For Pakodi
Chopped tamalapakulu – 6
Besan – 1 cup
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil to fry

For Gravy
Thick curd – 1 cup
Tomato puree – ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Chopped onion – 1 medium
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder to taste
Salt to taste

For Tempering
Hing a pinch
Jeera – 1 Tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Green chilli - 2 
Oil – 2 tsp

Method

For Pakodi
                      In a bowl, add all pakodi ingredients and mix the batter using water. Drop the pakodas in oil and deep fry.

For Gravy     
                     Heat oil in a pan and temper it. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 mins. Add onion and fry until it color change. Add curd and mix for mins. Add tomato puree, salt and mix well. Close the lid and cook on medium flame for 10 mins.
Before Serving, arrange pakodas in a bowl and add gravy.
